My name is Alicia Loomis and I am the Elementary Art teacher at Suncoast School for Innovative Studies. I received my Bachelor of Arts degree from Eckerd College with a major in Visual Arts and a minor in Human Development. I have had the opportunity to work alongside many great artists in and around the community, I have taught art in a variety of settings, and I continue to create my own artwork and exhibit throughout the community. My goal is to provide every student at SSIS with the opportunity to experience the arts in a safe, positive, and nurturing classroom environment where each student has the opportunity to create and learn to their fullest potential. I look forward to a creative year full of artful opportunities where every student can collaborate and connect with each other and the community!!
