My daily goal is to assist the classroom teacher the best that I can.  I help the teachers get prepared for the week, so they have more time to introduce new and exciting lessons.  I help gather together various projects, prepare class work that is needed for the week, and I can even step into the role of the teacher if she is called away for any reason.  Many times I help individual children with a subject that they are struggling with and can get them quickly caught up.  I believe there are many different learning methods and with the flexibility of our school, we use various avenues to help the child understand the lesson and achieve their goals.
