Teaching Philosophy

As I continue to learn and develop as a teacher, I hope to have a part in shaping the lives of my students.  I want them not only to learn the specific skills involved in mathematics, but to see the broader picture of how math is relevant to the world they live in.  Ideally, in doing this, they will have made a small step toward becoming productive and contributing members of society as a whole.
