SSIS School Uniform Information
2010-2011
SSIS School Uniforms: Students are expected to be in school uniforms while in school and/or attending school sponsored events, unless otherwise noted. School uniforms are as follows:
Shirts and Tops: Shirts and tops should be solid polo shirts (black, royal blue, navy blue, gold or white only). No printed logos or designs.
Pants, Shorts and Skirts: Pants, shorts and skirts must be khaki or navy blue (no Jeans). As with the tops, no printed logo is allowed.
Types of Pants, Shorts, Skirts: Students have the option of wearing pants, shorts, or skirts. For the student choosing to wear shorts or skirts, the “fingertip length” rule applies. Pants must not sag or bag. For this reason, we highly recommend wearing a belt. No undergarments should be visible.
Shoes: Shoes are a part of the school uniform and should therefore reflect our school colors. They should be solid colored with no open toes or heels. As a matter of safety and due to ongoing outdoor activities, high heel shoes are also not permitted.
